Does anyone else hate WordPress?

I just spent several hours updating my blog settings. I’m not sure I have all that much to show for it.

It’s pretty price enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

Yes. I am massively hating it. It’s supposed to be user-friendly, front-end driven. I have over 30 years programming experience, but I am NOT a web developer. On the surface it looks easy, but to make the modifications to your templates that you need, you have to know PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. You have to be able to get into your network and fix settings. You have to access your hosting account to create “child forms” or you will lose all of your changes the next time you update your theme. It is the most user UNfriendly piece of junk I’ve ever used. I haven’t been able to login consistently as administrator for 16 days. This is a problem others have had FOR YEARS and there is no solution out there. I’ve checked with my ISP, my hosting service, updated drivers on my own system, reinstalled my browsers, reconfigured my modem, reset my DSL, and turned off my firewall. Voila! It worked! For about ten minutes. Then it went back. I’ve run four virus checkers. Sick of Word Press. Why would they list this error for the past five years and close the chats before its resolved?
Thanks for letting me vent. This has been a heck of a more productive site than anything else. Maybe I’ll read your blog now. 🙂
