How do you Vote When A Hurricane Has Knocked Out Your Town?

Very out of order, apologies, but here are my reports from Election Day at the Shore, post-Hurricane Sandy. I reported for WHYY newsworks.org from Belmar, Brick, Toms River, and John Runyan’s victory party. I was super impressed with the elected officials and spirit of community in Belmar and told them as much. Runyan’s party was muted, because of the Obama win, and I have to say, “Where was the FOOD??”
