History professor Andy Shankman on Wende

History professor Andy Shankman on Wendell Pritchett’s resignation: ” As Chancellor Wendell has had to navigate between an administration in New Brunswick and a political class in Trenton that both do far more talking than they do listening. It’s a shame because he is a man of the deepest integrity and is the most visionary and talented administrator in the Rutgers system. I hope both the Administration in New Brunswick and the South Jersey Democrats and other state leaders think about how they have all contributed to cause the loss of a man the state and its premier university cannot afford to lose. I very much hope that nobody takes his resignation as an opportunity to avoid self-examination, or uses it as an excuse to become further entrenched in currently held positions.” @rutgers_camden
